An Insider’s Guide to Art on Paper NYC

Art on Paper is an annual art fair held in New York City at Pier 36. In 2022, Art on Paper is showcasing modern and contemporary artists who work on or with paper for its highly anticipated 8th year. The fair opened Thursday, September 8 and closes Sunday, September 11.

Perhaps the most enjoyable part of the evening was doing a blind “smell test” of all the Chanel perfumes. They were anonymously categorized by numbers and grouped by qualities such as floral, amber or woody. I eventually chose #6 from the soft amber category as my favorite although I had a hard time deciding. Fun fact: 50% of men choose a female perfume for themselves during this blind test.
