– 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your preferred level of spiciness)
– 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
– Freshly ground black pepper, to taste


1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. After draining and rinsing the chickpeas, place them on a clean kitchen towel and gently pat them dry. Remove any loose skins if desired, as it helps with crispiness.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
